“There are few things that never go out of style, and a feminine woman is one of them.”
I hope you are all well and have had a great start to the week ahead.
I have been drawing so much inspiration from how ladies dressed in the early 20th century. I totally love the vintage vibe and how they unapologetically worked their feminine edge. There is something so special about an outfit that not only makes you look like a lady but also makes you feel and even behave like one. A beautiful &sophisticated one for that matter. I love my comfy T-shirt and jeans but there is that special power either a dress or a skirt command that jeans will never do: perhaps because they have formed a large part of the foundation of the feminine identity.
My looks today are totally inspired by my journey in embracing my femininity. In look 1 the skirt is the hero of the day. It’s rich colour, the smooth satin material, the high low cut and the soft pleats is just everything! I mimicked the high low cut with my deep V top and completed the vintage look with the bird cage hat and gloves.
Look 2 is all about detail and structure. The symmetric lines on the torso draw in the waist accentuating your curves. I also love how the length of the dress and the high neck help to achieve a modest but still sexy feel.
Enjoy the pictures!
